I can explain why your audit log is showing incorrect dates in QuickBooks, subaramani201084.

The data showing in the Audit Log section depends on your filters. To avoid showing incorrect details, I suggest reviewing the date range selected from the settings.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select Audit log
  3. Click the Filter drop-down.
  4. Select or enter the correct dates.
  5. Make the necessary changes, then hit Apply.

Also, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to see if this is due to browser errors. Start with using an incognito window and review the data from there. Here are some of the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P

It's best to also clear the cache cause it causes unusual behavior within the system. Lastly, make sure that the browser is up-to-date and other supported browsers can also help you get rid of these kinds of issues.

Additionally, I've attached an article that will help you learn more about the audit log, like the special users QuickBooks creates for specific situations on your account: Use the audit log in QuickBooks Online.

Please let me know how this works. I'll be around the corner to keep an eye on your response. Take care and have a great day!
