Hello there, @SATN.

I can see the importance of having the option to see amounts as outstanding and amounts due in a certain period when creating customer statements inside QuickBooks Online (QBO). Upon checking here on my end, the option to customize customer statements is unavailable.

You can generate a customer statement using a different statement type and then use Balance forward type. In this option, your outstanding balance will show along with the breakdown of the transaction's amounts due. I'll write down the steps below to get you going.

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Go to Get paid & pay or Sales, then click Customers.
  3. Select the checkboxes for the customers you want to make statements for.
  4. In the Batch actions dropdown ▼, select Create statements.
  5. In the Statement Type dropdown ▼, select choose Balance Forward.
  6. Select the dates for the statements and the date range.
  7. Review the customer's email addresses.
  8. Click Save, Save and close, Save and send, or Print or Preview.

For more information, see this article: Create and send customer statements in QuickBooks Online.

You can also send a feature request to our product development Team. This way, they'll see your recommendation and consider it for future program updates. Here's how:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the top right-corner, click the Gear icon.
  3. Below the Profile column, select Send Feedback.
  4. Enter a brief description of your feature request.
  5. Once you're ready, press Send.

Moreover, if you'll ever need to run sales and income report inside QBO. Know that you can also customize it to add more details to it. You can refer to this article for more information: Customise reports in QuickBooks Online.

@SATN, it's been a pleasure to have you today. If you need help accomplishing goals inside QuickBooks, don't hesitate to post here again. As always, I've got your back. Stay safe!
