I got you covered, cooperativasmore. I'm here to share information about altering journal entry dates in QuickBooks Online.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you cannot directly change the due date on a journal entry. Journal entries in QBO do not have a due date like invoices or bills. If you need to adjust the date of a journal entry, you would need to correct the date and then make any necessary adjustments to the original entry.

Here how:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online Account.
  2. Navigate to the Magnifying Glass section or the Search Bar
  3. Locate your journal entry transaction.
  4. Once open, go to the Calendar option to change the date.
  5. After that, click Save and Close.

If you want to reverse your journal, check out this article for the detailed steps: Reverse or delete a journal entry in QuickBooks Online.

Furthermore, you can check this page if you need a guide on how to pull up a balance report to see your financial standing: Run a Balance Sheet report in QuickBooks Online.

Feel free to post here again if you have further questions about your QuickBooks Online (QBO). I'm right here to assist you anytime you need one. Take care always!
