Hi there, @hello-anne-marie.

I'll be glad to share with you the steps that would fix your VAT Liability report issue.

What you're experiencing right now can be a cause of a data cache issue. Usually, too much cache build-up in a browser can unexpected behavior with the product.

To clear this out, let's run some basic troubleshooting steps. We can start by opening your account using a private window. Doing this will help us isolate the issue and fix it.

Simply press the following shortcut keys to access incognito:

  • Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
  • Control + Option + P (Safari).

If you're able to open the report, then let's clear the cache in your web browser or try using a different supported browser. This might be a temporary issue with QuickBooks and the current browser that you use.

Additionally, here are some articles that will help you in managing your reports in QuickBooks Online (QBO):

Hi there,

I couldn't get the VAT Liability report to work trying all of your suggestions so I just left it for the day.

I've just tried to run it again now & it's working perfectly.  I did nothing else so presuming it was a blip with QBO on the day.

Many thanks for your help though - much appreciated.
