Hi all, I am having to save my view settings, in almost any segment in QBO, e.g. in reports I am having to change layout each time. Can my view settings not be saved?

I'm here to share some information about the display  preferences for reports in QuickBooks Online.

QuickBooks will always use the default display/format on report pages. Also, browsers have cookies and site settings to remember their preferences for a certain site or pages. For example, column widths and formatting, although those capabilities may have a limit on how much formatting information they can save.

You can consider saving your customised reports. This way, you can run the same report in the future.

Like this:

1. Go to Business overview and select Reports.
2. Find and open a report.
3. Use the basic filters on the report to adjust things like the report dates.
4. Click Customise in the top right hand corner of the page.
5. After you customise a report, select Save customisation.
6. Create a name for your custom report.
7. Click on Save.
