Yes, QuickBooks Online has a transaction history option just like QuickBooks Desktop. Here's how to do it:

1. Open a transaction you want to review.
2. Click More at the bottom menu.
3. Select Transaction journal.

This'll open a quick report about the affected accounts of the transaction.

If you want to see who and when the transaction was created, you can select Audit history. To see more of it, you can also go directly to the Audit log page.
