Thank you for visiting the Community, Nicholas8. We'll be sharing details on how exporting reports in Excel works and make sure you'll be able to view the report with accurate information.

We have to click the Enable Editing button in the upper part of the Excel file to show the correct amount of data in your financial statement. Otherwise, the report appears as zero in Excel. See the screenshot for your reference:

We can also fix the incorrect report by enabling Marcos. Here's how:

    1. In Excel, go to the File menu.
    2. Select Options.
    3. Click Trust Center, then select Trust Center Settings.
    4. Select Macros Settings, then select Disable all macros except digitally signed macros.
    5. Select OK.
    6. Re-export the report from QuickBooks Online to Excel.

If you get a notification about Macros when exporting, just accept the Macros. You can check out this article for more details about exporting your reports to Microsoft Excel: Export your reports to Excel from QuickBooks Online.

If the issue persists, we recommend updating your Excel to isolate the issue. Outdated Excel may have caused exported reports to show all amounts as zero. Let me guide you on how:

    1. Open the Excel file.
    2. Navigate to the File menu.
    3. Select Account.
    4. Click Update Options.
    5. Select Update Now.

If you don't see the Update option, you already have the latest version of Excel. To export your QuickBooks Online reports and lists, follow the steps in this article: Export data, reports, lists, and more from QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, to know more about personalizing your reports in QBO, you can refer to this article for guidance: Customise reports in QuickBooks Online.
