    Hi there.

Bank statements are provided by your financial institution. You can ask your banks for a file of your bank statement and use it to import to QuickBooks Online. If you mean by something else, I'm here to provide more information.

In QuickBooks Online, connecting your bank to QBO has limitations on how far back they can retrieve transactions. Some banks only provide the last 90 or 60 days. However, there's a workaround to unlock this limit and access older bank transactions based on your bank statement.

Manually importing your transactions is the best option to achieve this. Before that, ensure you have your bank statement in a compatible format. I'll show you how:

    1. Go to the Gear icon and select Import Data.
    2. Select Bank Data.
    3. Drag and drop or click the Select Files button to upload your bank statement.
    4. Click Continue and follow the necessary steps on-screen.

Now that your transactions are in QuickBooks, it's time to match and categorise them. The transactions go into your accounts after you review them.
