Question

I am a PropManager. I created reports from Transaction By Details. I select by month, filter by property, credit, debit, balance. On some reports the balance is not there

I do not know why on some reports the balance shows and others, they don't when the account has funds.

Financial reports in QuickBooks give you tons of great info about your business. There are many ways to customize your reports.

 

Other reports will the balance and others won't. It's because QuickBooks looks at individual transaction lines.

 

If a line matches the report set, then the line is added to the report. Note that different reports read a transaction differently so the two reports you might think should have the same amount may show different amounts.
