Hello there, nleric.

We can go to the journal report to locate your entry in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Then, filter the date to last year.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. In the search bar, type Journal.
  3. Click the Report period drop-down arrow and choose Last Year.

You'll now see your transactions from last year. You can also use the Magnifying glass and search the journal.

Additionally, we can review the Audit log to see the transactions you've created. It'll track all of the activities in your account, including those who made changes to your books and what they did.

Visit this link about personalising and filtering the report according to your needs: Customise reports in QuickBooks Online.

It'll be my pleasure to help you more with your journal entries. If you need further assistance pulling up other reports, let me know. Take care.

I appreciate you for following the suggested steps above, @TUSSU. This time, I can ensure you can view the journal you're looking for in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

We can review the Audit log to track the changes made to your account and to check if the journal was accidentally deleted. Deleted transactions will be completely erased from your books and won’t appear on any reports or accounts. However, you can recover it using the Audit log QBO. With that, we can review the Audit log to track the changes made to your account. The audit log shows you 150 records at a time.

To navigate to the Audit log:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Audit Log.
  2. Click Filter.
  3. Use the fields on the Filter panel to choose the appropriate UserDate, or Events filter to narrow the results.
  4. Then, select Apply.

Please see this article for details: Use the audit log to re-enter deleted transactions.

If you still can't find the journal in the Audit log, then you forgot to save it since Audit Log only works for saved information or transactions. That said, you'll need to recreate the journal you have worked on.

I've added this article for future reference:  Print a journal entry report.

Feel free to post a reply if you need more help managing your journal in QBO. I'll be around. Please keep yourself safe!
