I have used petty cash account as a paying account but in my balance sheet by project the amount is shown as unspecified. What could be the issue?

Allow me to step in and share some information about the non-specified transactions on your Balance Sheet report grouped by customer/project.

The amounts you see under the Not Specified column are those line items or transactions which doesn't have customer assignments. This also includes transferring funds from one account to another. With this column, you'll get the Total for each account in the Balance Sheet report.
