I'm getting a "Somethings Wrong, we're working on it" error on VAT Liability Report. I've cleared cache etc. Any resolution? Can anyone help in the meantime?

Let's try other browser troubleshooting steps, info1656.

 

Good job in clearing your cache to isolate the error you're prompted with when running your VAT Liability Report. You'll want to try pulling up the report using a private browser. This type of browser doesn't store cache files, unlike the regular browser. To open one, you can use these keyboard shortcuts: 

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

Then, you can follow these steps in running the report. 

 

  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Enter and select in the search field, VAT Liability Report.
  3. Set the date range and customize the report.

If not, I recommend using another supported browser. It could be that your current browser has a temporary issue with QuickBooks. 

 

However, if the same thing happens, you can reach out to us so we can further investigate the issue. Here's how:

  1. In your QuickBooks Online account, go to the Help > Assistant.
  2. Type Talk to a human and proceed with I still need a human.
  3. Click the Contact us link.
  4. Select either Messaging or Callback.
