Question

I wanted to post a journal entry ranging in the hundred billions, but I couldnt. Is it due to the denomination limit inherent in QB? Is there any way to work around this?

Hello, @kent7.

When creating a journal entry or other tracking other transactions in QuickBooks, you can enter amounts (on all form and currency) up to 11-digits. This is equivalent to ten billion.

Just to clarify, are you trying to record your income and expense transactions? If so, you can import these transactions QuickBooks.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the New Icon (+).
  2. Choose Journal Entry.
  3. Select the Import button.
  4. Located your Journal Entry CSV file.
  5. Map your transactions.
  6. Click Save and Close.
