I'm here to guide you through how you can run an expense report in QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

 

We can run a Profit and Loss report to show the total amount of your expenses. You can customize it following the steps: 

 

  1. Go to Reports on the left panel.
  2. Enter Profit and Loss in the search bar.
  3. Select the Report period and click the Customize button.
  4. Click Filter, and select All Expense account from the Distribution account drop-down list.
  5. Once done, click the Run report button.
