I know of a report you can run to see where your money is going and better understand why you have a high net profit but a low cash flow. adam55.

The amount of money moving in and out of your business and bank account is referred to as your cash flow. You can utilize several reports and predictions in QuickBooks Online (QBO) to gain a comprehensive picture of your present and future business finances.

The first step in cash flow reporting is to ensure that your books are correct. Check that you have entered all of your transactions into QuickBooks. Then, reconcile your accounts in QuickBooks to ensure they match your actual bank and credit card bills. If they don’t match, here’s how to fix beginning balance issues in QuickBooks.

After that, run a Profit and Loss report for the last three months to obtain a sense of your average monthly income and expenses. Here's how it's done:

  1. Go to Business overview and select Reports.
  2. Search and choose the Profit and Loss report.
  3. From the Report period dropdown, select Since 90 days ago. Or select Custom and enter a three-month date range.
  4. Press Run report.

Focus on the top revenue sources when reviewing the income. Pay attention to factors like payroll, rent, insurance, and marketing expenses to determine where you might be able to cut back. For more information on cash flow, see this article: Track your cash flow in QuickBooks Online.

I'll add these articles that tackle managing reports in QBO for further guidance:
