Thank you for reaching out about the difficulty you’re experiencing with creating or printing statements, Maggie. I understand this can be frustrating, and I’m here to help.

I wanted to provide some insights regarding the message you received while trying to create a customer statement in QuickBooks Online.

If you’re working with a sub-customer marked as "bill with parent," please note that you'll need to generate the statement at the parent customer level.

On the other hand, if your sub-customer is not marked as "bill with parent," you'll have the flexibility to create statements at both levels. The parent level will show the parent details, while the sub-level will display the sub-customer information.

If this isn't your case, let's perform some troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue. We can access your QuickBooks account using an incognito or private window. This approach is beneficial because it doesn't store any

data from the site. You can use these keyboard shortcuts:

    • Press Command + Shift + N (Safari)
    • Press CTRL + Shift + N (Google Chrome)
    • Press CTRL + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox)
    • Press CTRL + Shift + N (Microsoft Edge)

If you can create a statement seamlessly, clear your browser's cache to remove any outdated saved files. Alternatively, you might want to try a different supported browser.

I'm sharing this article about generating financial reports in QuickBooks to assess your business's status. This will allow you to analyze sales, expenses, and their interactions, providing you with a thorough understanding of your company's performance.

I'll be on the lookout for your response! If you have any further questions about managing customer statements or anything else, please feel free to ask. I'm here to address your questions promptly, Maggie.
