Profit and Loss items on Trial Balance report - i.e detailed TB

Hi All,

 

I am in Trial version of QB Online Plus and the report of Trial Balance is only showing DR and CR columns. Will any one guide if we may have detailed TB report and to have profit and loss items too in the TB report (detailed TB report)?

Hello Abdul Rehman,

 

Instead of using the Trial Balance to see the transaction details, I'd recommend running the Transaction Detail by Account report. This will show all the transactions associated to the account. Here's how customize it:

  1. Click Reports on the left menu and search Transaction Detail by Account.
  2. Click the Customize button and set the Report period and Accounting method.
  3. Go to the Rows/Columns section and click Change columns.
  4. Mark the Debit and Credit boxes. You can mark the other boxes if necessary.
  5. Click Run report.

This also includes the accounts in the Profit and Loss Detail report.

 

You can do additional customization on the report if you need to.
