When making journal entries, the NAME does not appear on the reports. Is there a explanation for this?

Let's figure out why the name doesn't appear on the reports, mankhan.

May I know what report you're referring to? When making journal entries, you must assign the name for it to show. To verify this, you must view the audit log and check whether you've assigned a name. After checking and you find out that you've assigned a name and it still doesn't show, I recommend performing basic troubleshooting steps. Start by opening a private browser or an incognito window on your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. Based on your browser type, please refer to the keyboard shortcuts below:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

After this, clear the browser's cache so the system can restart. Clearing the cache will reboot the system, allowing you to work with a clean slate.

Moreover, I'll add this article to help you update or correct your journal entry: Reverse or delete a journal entry in QuickBooks Online.
