Welcome to the Community, ethokori.

When accessing your last year's financial reports, please ensure that the start and end dates are correctly filtered.

To customise dates in reports, here's how:

  1. On your QBO account, go to the Reports tab.
  2. Run a financial report.
  3. On the top part of the report page, filter the dates under the Report period or click on Customize.

  4. Once ready, click on Run report.

For detailed steps, kindly visit: Customise reports in QuickBooks Online.

However, if there's still no data found when running financial reports, this might be due to a problem with your browser.

QuickBooks Online can occasionally stop working properly since browsers can be overloaded with site data. I recommend opening a different browser or a private window to isolate possible issues. This can help us remove any cache-related matters that may have contributed to the problems.

Here's how to activate incognito mode in some of the most common online browsers:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

If you're finally able to access your last year's financial reports, it's safe to say that the browser has caused it. This can be fixed by clearing your cache and cookies.

Moreover, I'll also share this article that can serve as your reference if you want to learn how to exclude inactive or deleted accounts from appearing on your financial reports: Remove deleted accounts from reports in QuickBooks Online.

I'm looking forward to getting this resolved. Feel free to leave a reply if you require further assistance with accessing your last year's financial reports in QuickBooks. The Community team always has your back. Have a good one!
