Question

Why is my Quickbooks not working properly ? I am unable to make corrections, unable to click of financial report links, it takes forever to load. This is not great!

Quickbooks service is not great. I have been unable to resolve this issue for weeks now. This is unacceptable as information is required in real time from your customers. Yet , we cannot even get a hold of someone that can assist. So far QBO Costa Rica has been the worst experience compared to other global accounts.

First, I'd like to get some details to help me get on the same page in sorting out this query. Have you encountered errors when trying to work with your QuickBooks Online? This way, I can check on my end if other users are also experiencing this. 

 

In the meantime, I've got some troubleshooting steps for you to perform to get around this issue.

 

To start, log in to your QBO using a private window. It doesn't use the existing cache files to help us determine if this is a browser-related issue. You can use any of these keyboard shortcuts to open an incognito window, depending on your browser:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Shift + Ctrl + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

 

From there, you can go back to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh. You can also use another supported and up-to-date browser to narrow down the results.

Hi,

 

Yes, I have tried the above recommendation previously to no avail.

 

Current Issues:

 

1. Unable to process transfers between bank accounts

2. Unable to click on amounts on any reports to view details of a specific account

3. 45 - 75s to generate a report

4. Constant freezing or getting kicked out of QBO account

 

Please note that all my other QBO Online subscriptions are working fine with the exception of QBO Costa Rica.

We can start by restarting the computer. It will refresh all the system memory registers making them ready to start over again. You'll also want to run a quick speed test on your computer. It's an easy way to take stock of your internet service's performance. 

 

After doing so, let's perform the given steps above again. This way, we can easily find out if something is wrong on your end or if the problem is with your internet service provider. 

 

If the issue persists, I would suggest reaching out to our Customer Care team and informing them that you're still experiencing this matter. They can look into this matter further and guide you through the sorting process.
