Why is quickbooks unable to take all transaction in my bank statement? My statement is less than a year

Which bank are you referring to? Did you encounter any specific errors? Your bank’s connection may be interrupted for any of the following reasons:

 

  • If there is a minor or major update in your bank information such as the bank account number
  • Update in your Online Banking Login credentials
  • Bank outage and other scheduled maintenance
  •  

In the meantime, let's perform a few manual updates to refresh the connection between your bank and QuickBooks Online. Here's how:

 

  1. On the left navigation menu, click Transactions.
  2. Choose Banking.

     
  3. Select the respective Bank and hit Update in the upper right. QuickBooks begins updating your account.
  4. You can do this 2 or 3 times during non-peak hours.

 

Alternatively, you'll want to upload your bank's transactions manually. We can check this article for a guide: Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Online.

 

Once your transactions have been imported, I recommend assigning and categorising them. You can also match them to existing entries in the software. Simply select the For Review tab from the Banking menu. This will assist you in ensuring the accuracy of your financial records.
