My statement of account is not showing the balance as at 31 December 2021. It is showing the figure as of now even though i choose the date correctly.

QuickBooks only shows the data it gets from your bank account, so I recommend manually checking your statement from your bank's website if they don't provide the balance.

You can also attach the statement manually. Please refer to the Step 2 section of this article: Get bank statements directly from your bank when you reconcile.
