Hello,

QuickBooks Online comes stocked with tons of awesome reports that help you keep track of your business finances. It's important to have all the necessary data at your fingertips in case of an Audit. I'll help explain what's displayed in the General Ledger report.

The General Ledger report shows the beginning balance, transactions, and totals for each of your accounts in the Chart of Accounts. You can use the customization filters to add two additional columns to the report for your debits and credits.

Here's how:

1. Click the Reports tab on the left menu.

2. Select the General Ledger.

3. Select the appropriate date-range.

4. Click the small Gear icon above the report.

5. Check off the box for Debits and Credits

This will produce the debit and credit columns to show you a breakdown for each line of detail.

I hope this helps you get back on track. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out.

Cheers!
