Can i change the "Gross Profit" and "Profit" categories on the Profit and Loss. As a non profit we would like to use "Surplus" instead of Profit or "Income over Expenses"

Report customization in QuickBooks Online is a powerful feature focused on giving you the ability to run your own business. Currently, the report elements that can be renamed on your Profit & Loss are the header and footer. The best way to customize it further is to export it to Excel. I'm happy to help with this.

To export your report to Excel, it's just a few simple steps:

1. Head to your Reports tab and select Profit and Loss. 
2. Enter the required Report period then click Run report.
3. Select the Export icon (between the printer and the gear icons), and then Export to Excel.
