Can I create a Customer List with prefered payment method report?

I wanted to create a report that I could keep in my AR group of reports that contains the customers and their prefered payment method. Is this possible?

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. It's vital you're able to create a report that shows your customer list and the payment method. Rest assured, I'll be happy to share more info so you're on the right track. QuickBooks provides is equipped with a powerful Reports module that simplifies the way you handle your transactions. 

 

Here's how to run the report: 

 

  1. Click Reports on the left panel.
  2. Type Transaction List by Customer in the search box.
  3. Once the report is opened, click the Customize button in the upper right-hand corner.
  4. Maximize the Rows/Columns section and click the Change columns link, then check the box for Payment Method.
  5. Maximize the Filter section, check the box for Transaction Type and select Invoice, then check the box for Payment Method and select All.
