Can I delete incorrect payroll items on the transaction report ( it shows gross pay- not a legal pay) which makes the total on the profit and loss report incorrerct.

Being able to customize your reports to show the information you're looking for is a great way to save time. I'd be happy to go over this with you.

QuickBooks Online provides many customizing options to fine tune your reports to include the information you want. At this time being able to customize to remove payroll items is not an option available. I suggest exporting your profit and loss report to excel and remove the items you don't wish to be shown. This will allow you to see the report without payroll items.

If you wish to have the ability to customize your reports to not include specific payroll items you can send feedback to our technicians by following this steps.

1. Select the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
2. Enter your comments or product suggestions then select Next.
3. You'll be provided a list of suggested Help articles related to your comment. You can read through them or select Skip and send message.
4. From the drop-down, choose the appropriate category, then select Send message.
