Can I generate a Project Profitability or similar report that includes both hard cost transactions and time activities?

QuickBooks Online Plus helps tons of small business owners who complete projects as part of their business structure. The Projects feature makes it simple for you to track your profitability and cost of certain jobs. Reports are essential in order to give you a snapshot of your business health. I'd be happy to explain the reports available for your projects. 

At this time, there's three reports available in the Projects module: 

• Project Profitability: How much you're making or losing on the project. 
• Time Cost by Employee or Supplier: See employee or supplier time costs for the project. 
• Unbilled Time and Expenses: Find expenses and time you haven't added to an invoice.

Based on what you're trying to see for your project, you're going to want to review both the Project Profitability and the Time Cost by Employee or Supplier report. At this time, there's no report available that shows both transactions as well as time activities. 

I'd suggest submitting your feedback about this for our product development team. We're always looking for ways to improve the product. You can do that by clicking the Gear icon > Feedback. 

In the meantime, I recommend running both reports as explained above to get a good picture of your expenses and time activities.
