Can I sort Sales by Product/Service Detail report by the Service Date?

Being able to customize your reports to show your information at a glance is a great way to save time. I can help walk you through how to customize your reports.

QuickBooks Online makes finding the information you need easy by being able to customize your reports. At this time the sort by date option is for the date the invoice is made and not the service date. You can add a filter to include the service date on the report to help you see the dates they were done on. To customize a report to include the service date go to: Customize>Filter>Check service date. This will add a new section for the report that will show the service date.

If you wish to have the ability to sort by service date in your reports you can send feedback to our technicians by following this steps.

1. Select the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
2. Enter your comments or product suggestions then select Next.
3. You'll be provided a list of suggested Help articles related to your comment. You can read through them or select Skip and send message.
4. From the drop-down, choose the appropriate category, then select Send message.
