Question

Can Intuit make the 'set date range' option work on the Supplier Balance Detail report. I don't need transactions from 9 years ago. It bogs down to unusable.

Hi there,

Customizing the date-range on your reports helps keep you organized, and allows for a quick assessment of your business health. I can appreciate the need to filter out old transactions on your Supplier Balance Detail report, and I'd be happy to explain how you can do that in just a few clicks.

To set up a new reporting period or enter a custom date-range, follow these steps:

1. Click Reports on the left navigation menu.

2. Select the Supplier Balance Detail report.

3. At the top left side of the report page, click the All Dates drop-down menu.

4. Select a reporting period or choose Custom

5. Click Run Report

That's all there is to it! Now you won't see transactions from 9 years ago, and you can assess your current balances.

Cheers.
