Question

Create a report for open estimates that shows estimate amount and remaining balance to be invoiced.

seems like a simple report but using QBO I can not create a simple report by open/pending estimate showing  initial estimate value and balance owing

Thanks for reaching out to us here.  QuickBooks Online provides multiple reports that can be customized, so you can see what matters most.  I'd be glad to help!

 

To view open estimates, I suggest the Estimates and Progress Invoicing Summary by Customer report. This report includes the percent invoiced, along with the open balance.   In addition, you'll note a total at the bottom of each customer, for non-invoiced estimates and balances as well.  To add additional filters, simply click on the small ⚙ in the top right of the report, then hit View more.
