Is there a report that can be customized to show only certain accounts on the balance sheet? I want to create a report that only shows certain current assets and current liabilities as well as the difference between these two. The balance sheet and trial balance don't seem to be able to be customized in this way. Are there any other reports that can be manipulated to show this data?

Hello Daniel Webber,

Welcome to the Community. QuickBooks offers a variety of reports that help you streamline your work with ease. I'll be happy to share more info so you can continue to do the things you love.

Based on what you've described, I recommend checking out the Balance Sheet report as it shows your total account balances that you can filter to view the info you need such as the account/date.  In case you need to customize/filter the report, here's an article that shows you how to do that. On Step 2 in the article you'll see the customization option to filter specific accounts so those are the only accounts you're seeing when running the report.

I encourage you to check out this article here that goes over the: Reports included in your QuickBooks Online subscription.

Let me know if this info helps. I'll be one message away in case you need further assistance. Otherwise, I wish you a great rest of the week.
