Custom reports not showing up on all users eg. admin

Hello givetclinic37,

 

The option to customize reports allows you to take the extra step when it comes to organizing the information you're seeing from your books. QuickBooks Online's Save customization option lets you keep that custom setup and share it with others on your account. I want to make sure everyone is seeing the reports as needed.

 

One important thing to note when it comes to reports available in the Custom reports tab is that if the user was added to the account after the report was saved, they won't be able to see it. Users will only be able to see reports in that list that were created and saved while they were already on the account. If your users were added after the report creation, consider sending them a link to it or emailing them a copy. This article goes over this in the Share custom reports section: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online. You can also consider deleting and recreating the custom report so they will see it.

 

In the event you have users that were already on the account when the report was customized and they're still not seeing it in that tab, the next thing to do is to make sure that your custom reports have been set to share with everyone. Here's how you can check that.

  1. Select Reports from the left menu.
  2. Choose the Custom reports tab.
  3. Click Edit in the Action column.
  4. Verify that the Share with field is selected for All. If not, change it to All.
  5. Click Save and close.

If the options are set to All and your users still aren't seeing the reports when they visit the Custom reports tab, have them try the following troubleshooting steps to make sure the cache is clear and that there aren't browser or Internet issues causing the problem.

If that doesn't clear up the issue, the next step is for you and your users having the issue to contact QuickBooks Online support. An agent will be able to gather all the important details, troubleshoot further, and escalate the issue if needed.
