Customer Statement email pdf & text body

When I send the Customer Statement email ..... it send the PDF attachement; but it shows all the same detail in the body of the email  it a very awful  looking, hard to read csv style text format.

 

How do I get rid of that?  I just want it to send the pdf?

 

I can send it to myself, and resend just the pdf.... but I shouldn't have to do that when the system is set up to send out these emails.

Hi there shortcut1,

 

It's vital all your information is sent correctly to your customers for purchases they've made. QuickBooks Onlne is a great tool able to help you create and send invoices to your customers as well as other forms such as sales receipts and estimates. I can point you in the right direction to change email settings for invoices.

 

In order to modify the email settings for invoices, go to the Gear icon, then Account and settings. Select the Sales tab, then click on Online delivery. here are the options that can be modified:

 

  • Showing a full detail of the invoice, or a short summary in the email
  • Having a PDF automatically attached or not
  • You can also choose to have the emailed invoice show as an online invoice or plain text.

Don't forget to save once you've edited these settings.
