Do I create from the chart of accounts new credit card accounts in QBO before I connect the credit cards from our bank?

Welcome back to the Community. It's vital you're able to sync your bank transactions so you can take full advantage of using the program. Rest assured, I'll be happy to share more info and help steer you in the right direction. 

 When adding credit card accounts there isn't a need to manually add to your chart of accounts. You can simply connect your credit cards through the Banking module. Here's a helpful article that shows you how to: Connect bank and credit cards in QuickBooks. In case your bank isn't listed, you can request access through your bank by following the steps below: 

1. Navigate to the Banking/Transactions menu.
2. Click on Link account.
3. Search for the name of your financial institution. If QuickBooks is unable to find your bank, you will get the message, "Hmm, we can’t find [name of the bank you entered] in our list of supported banks."
4. If you’re unable to find your bank, click on Request support for your bank.
5. Enter your bank's web address (URL) in the field provided, then select Request.
