Does anyone know if you can run / customize a report to show the tax exempt sales for the year?

QuickBooks Online provides various reports that can help you better understand your finances. In this case, I recommend taking a look at the "Sales by customer detail report". You can view this report by following these steps:

1. Head to the "Report tab".
2. Type "Sales by customer detail" in the search bar
3. Click on "Columns" in the top right corner
4. Scroll down and check the box for "Tax code"
5. Click the "X".

The report should now show tax codes including Exempt. I hope this helps!
