Filed a sales tax report wrong how do I delete it?

We all make these kinds of mistakes, and I'm happy to share that there are a couple of ways to correct your incorrect sales tax filing in QuickBooks Online. I know how important it is to get these numbers right, so I want to make sure you have the steps you need.

The two methods to undo an incorrect sales tax filing to make changes are as follows:

1. Have an accountant user undo the filing.
2. Have QuickBooks Online tech support undo the filing.

Once the filing is undone, you'll be able to go ahead with your changes before refiling it.

Accountant users are great members to have on your team and it's easy to connect with them using the My Accountant tab. There, you can invite an accountant you already have on your side or find someone to join your team using the Find a pro to help button.
