GST

Hi 

I import may daily sales to my quick book. Under imported transaction my  GST comes  under service item. How do I make a JE for changing  that from service item to Tax item for 1 month batch entries. 

currently I am going in each sales entry to edit it add GST tax item and remove GST service item.

Thanks for reaching out to Community.  Welcome!  QuickBooks Desktop is a versatile program that allows you to streamline your work using the enhanced features offered within product.  I can see how concerning it can be when imported transactions are falling under service items as opposed to being a tax item.  I'd be happy to point you in the right direction!

 

To create a journal entry go to Company and select Make General Journal Entries.  It's always best to reach out to your Accountant for their expertise when entering the required fields.  If you don't currently have one, we can help you locate a ProAdvisor in your local area.
