Hello riana-frankruyte,

I'm excited to learn you're thinking of uploading a new customer and accounts to your account. QuickBooks is a great program for small business owners looking to streamline their business and get ahead with their work. I'll be happy to help share more info so you can complete your work with ease.

Based on what you've described, if you're looking for a list that shows you the Type and Detail Types available in QuickBooks, I encourage you to check out this link here from our developers. The link takes you to our developers' site where you can get a complete list of the account types in QBO. If you'd like to see these account types, click on the blue link written Show child attributes under Account Type. You can also learn about account types using the helpful resources below:

Let me know if you have other questions, I'm here to help. Otherwise, I wish you a great rest of the week!

I, too, would like to see a list of account types and their associated detail types so that I can correctly set up my  Sage 50 Chart of Accounts excel file prior to importing it into a new QBO account. The link provided in the answer is broken. Where can find this info?

Thank-you.
