How can a run a profit and loss report with only one company? I have two companies on one quick books subscription

I need to run a profit and loss report and a balance sheet without certain data from my second business but not seeing how to do that on the customization

Being able to pull up your company finances in your QuickBooks Online account is a great way to see how your company is doing. I'd be happy to help you with how to pull up company information using reports.

 

QuickBooks Online is set up to keep track of everything you enter for your company. For this reason we recommend using one subscription per company. If you have multiple companies in one subscription it prevents the reports feature from giving you an overlook of a specific company. Normally you can still get the reports information by exporting it to excel and modifying the document to see only one companies information. However; the profit and loss report is set up to pull all the information that the company has done and can not be modified in this way.

 

You can look into a third party app that could help with getting this information to show by going to the App link on the left hand menu bar.
