Hi shawn36,

Welcome to Community!  Having the ability to review revenue by specific fields is a great way to see your transactions at a glance.  QuickBooks Online has several reports to suit your business needs.  I'd be happy to get you in the right direction!

You can run the Sales by Location Detail report that includes the sales amounts for each location.  Here's how:

1. From the left menu, select Reports

2. Type Sales by Location Detail in the search bar

3. Click Customize to choose the details you'd like to see

4. Hit Rows/Columns

5. From the drop-down arrow in Group By, choose Location

6. Checkmark any other preferred items

7. When finished, click Run Report.

That should do it for you!

If you have any other questions, please reach back out.  We'd be glad to help you!

Hi there,

We are Canadian Company and operate in US currency (multi-currency, Advanced version of QB online). I need Report Total Sales by State (to see totals for US) in US currency.

Report by Location does not work for me, because the transactions were not assigned with location before.

When I generate "classic" report "Sales by Customer Detail" I can see "foreign amount" (but there is no "shipping province" to filter it out), however, when I generate the same Report in the "new" view, I cannot see "foreign amount" anymore but can see "shipping province" for the customer. Can you please help?

Thank you for your time.

Anna
