Question

How do I save my column preferences for Account QuickReport? I find my columns too wide and I don't need all the columns and it doesn't all fit in my view.

Hi colleen-jennifer,

 

It's nice to see you in Community.  Welcome!  QuickBooks Online enables you to customize your reports, so you can see what matters most.  I would be glad to assist!

 

When viewing the QuickReport, you can edit the columns to show what you feel necessary.  To do this, simply click on the small ⚙ in the top right of the report, then select View more.  Remove the checkmark from any information that you want to remove from the report.  If you still have a concern about your view, you can minimize the left navigation panel by clicking on the three lines (), located at the top right of the navigation menu.  With regards to saving your columns after adjusting them, this is a product limitation that doesn't save your preferences.  Although you can reduce/expand the column widths on the report, they'll return to default when you select print/preview.

 

I can understand the time saving benefit of this option, and recommend submitting a suggestion to our Development Team.  Recommendations are greatly appreciated in assisting us with improving your overall customer experience with QuickBooks Online.
