How do I switch the default start date for reports by week, from Sunday to Monday? I changed the payroll option but that does not affect the report defaults for P&L etc.

It's important that all your transactions are entered correctly for your books to be well balanced. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you view the financials of your business through various reports. I can provide some information about default dates.

In QuickBooks Online, other than for Payroll purposes, there is no way to change the default week for list filters and reports. if you're looking to use the date range mentioned above, you would need to customize a period when running reports. I can see how being able to make this change would be a feature you'd like to see to help you with managing your business. I recommend leaving feedback in the system by clicking the Gear Icon, then Feedback. The comments made in that section are taken into consideration when our developers create new features for the software.
