How to change the date on the Report period in order to pay the sales tax to Canada Revenue Agency?

Welcome to Community!  It's important that you're able to file and pay your sales tax on time.  QuickBooks Online enables you to set your reporting periods, so you can prepare your returns with confidence.  I'd be glad to assist!

If this is your first sales tax filing, follow these steps to enter the reporting period;

1. From the left menu, open Taxes, then Sales Tax

2. Select the tile for the appropriate agency

3. Click Prepare Return

4. Choose the Filing Period from the ▼ dropdown menu

5. Enter the Start Date, End Date and Filing Date

6. Review the information and hit Mark as filed
