Question

I am trying to prepare my T5018 report however multiples suppliers are missing from the report. When I look at the supplier, there is an error re supplier type

Supplier type is correct. I have tried to contact QBO chat multiples times but I'm getting nowhere. They start the chat then disappear.

Based on what you've described, it's important to make sure that your suppliers are set up for T4AT5018, or Do not Track. This can be checked using the steps below:

 

1. Select Suppliers from the Expenses menu.
2. Select an existing supplier.
3. Select Supplier Type (Individual or Business).
4. Select the T4A or T5018 option.
5. Select Save.

 

Once you've verified this, you can follow the steps in this article for more info on: Using T4A and T5018 forms in QuickBooks Online. If you're still having trouble, I'd recommend clearing cache and cookies on your browser. Here's an article which shows you how to: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online. I encourage you to give that a try as this helps fix most minor issues the browser may be having.
