I am unable to create sub account heads in QBO. When i click on sub account option, the drop down list shows nothing

Creating sub-accounts in QuickBooks Online is a simple and straightforward process. Once a parent account has been created, you can create an unlimited number of sub-accounts to help you organize your expenses and income. I'd be happy to explain what may be happening if your drop-down menu isn't populating any information.


If you've already created a parent account that you'd like this sub-account to fall under, you should have no problem making your selection from the drop-down. If you're not seeing any information there, you may be running into a browser-related issue. Don't worry, I'll explain how to get back on track.

 

Try clearing the cache and cookies to give your browser a reset. Stored Internet files build up over time as you browse, and they can cause bugs and other issues with sites like QuickBooks Online.
