Question

I cannot get supplier list or add supplier. I happen to be in my chart of accts, i hover over expenses, select suppliers and nothing happens, still in chart of accts.

Hi userrogerndeck,

 

Being able to hover over the menus in the left sidebar and choose a sub-menu from there is one of the navigational features I love about QuickBooks Online. It's great that you find these options useful too, and I'm here to help make sure that they're working for you so you can easily get around your books, including to the Suppliers section.

 

Typically when menus or buttons aren't working in QuickBooks Online, it can be attributed to a cache, browser, or app issue. Since the software works in the cloud, a build-up of cache data or an incompatible browser can cause issues with the features. To rule those out, I recommend going through this list of troubleshooting steps.

Go through one-by-one, trying the menu again after each. If one of these solves the issue, that's great, and you can stop going down the list and get back to work.
