Question

I created two new income accounts: CEWS Income, CERS Income. The CEWS Income account does not show up! But I can't make a new CEWS account, QB says I already have one.

Welcome to the Community. Being able to add an income account of your choice is essential to ensure that transactions are tracked in the right account. QuickBooks Online provides the ability to easily create a new account in the chart of accounts. I'll be glad to help you with this.
 

One of the reasons the system will give a notification error when adding a new account is if the name is already used for another account. The first step is to click on the Accounting  tab on the left navigation menu > and then Chart of Accounts > you can type the name of the account you're trying to add on the search tab.
 

Also, I recommend that you follow some browser troubleshooting steps in this article to clear cache and cookies. These can have an impact on the display of information and the functionality of the system.
 

If the steps provided above don't work, the other option is to make the new account slightly different by adding a character to the name.
