Question

I'm looking to generate a report showing each transaction and the country of origin but one supplier has multiple addresses, so I was wondering if there's a work around?

I can't generate the customer contact list because that wont give values. I need to know the percentage of sales in Canada vs. the US for insurance purposes, and would like to have a customized report so I can generate it on the spot instead of having to export into excel and manually manipulate it every time.

Hey Enixynox,

When you say one supplier has multiple addresses, I assume you mean Customer as you mentioned Sales later on.

Does that mean you're using the same Customer Record yet providing a different Ship-To Address for the transactions?

Let me know or add some screen shots and I'll see if there's something suitable in the reports for you.
Also What QBO subscription level do you have as some reports are limited to the higher tiers.

A Cheer would be nice or

Please mark this answer as a helpful solution if it answers your question

Hello!

Thank you for your reply.

I'm using QBO Accountant in Canada. For this client, we are importing woocommerce data, and without purchasing another software, each customer is simply called "WooCommerce Customer" and the address is the only thing that changes from customer to customer.

Let me know if you have any other questions about the circumstances.

Ah,

I See your problem now, I don't think there's any simple way to do this in QBO. Even the Detailed Sales reports do not give full Customer details such as state/Country etc. which is unfortunate. You can do this fairly easily in QB Desktop, I know.

I would actually revert back to Woo-Commerce if I were you, I imagine the reporting there would be able to handle this better.

Also, if it's for Insurance purposes, wouldn't it be an Annual thing or is it something you have to do more often? Either way I do not think you're going to get away from some Excel magic-trickery I'm sorry.

I think we should provide feedback to QBO on this that we'd like Address information in the reports, Names are great but full address control etc would be better.
