I made a journal entry to retained earnings but it is not showing on the balance sheet or the trial balance

I notice you reached out about this same question yesterday and I can see how important it is to you to sort this out. I want to make sure you're able to resolve this issue to have the adjustment appear on the Retained Earnings lines of your Trial Balance and Balance Sheet reports.

In addition to what my colleague mentioned yesterday about verifying the transaction has been entered, I also recommend verifying things such as the dates when you're running these reports. If the adjustment entry was made for a date outside of the period run on the report, you'll want to adjust the date ranges on the reports and then select Run report again.
