I would like to run a year end chart of accounts report that runs from the 1st of May 2023 to the end of April 2024

Hello lynnjost-gmail-c,

 

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online offers multiple reports for all areas of your books. I would be glad to help!

 

You can run year-end reports, such as the Profit and Loss report or the Balance Sheet report.  You can set the desired date range, and select specific filters.  In addition, you can also run a QuickReport directly from your Chart of Accounts.  Here's how;

 

1. Go to Settings ⚙, and select Chart of accounts

2. Locate the account

3. Select Run report from the ▼ dropdown menu in the Action column

4. Enter the Report period

5. Hit Run report

No, this is not what I want.   I want the complete chart of accounts - ALL accounts not just one account ast a time - would take forever to complete for accountant.

I can see how being able to do all accounts at once would be beneficial for you. Since this isn't an option at this time, I recommend leaving feedback for our developers. Comments are viewed and considered as they create new features and updates for the software.
